Stepping out for a night of music in the UK, Rihanna took to the red carpet at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball in London, England on Wednesday (December 10).

Held at the O2 Arena Docklands, the “Umbrella” songstress took part in the 95.8 Capital FM-hosted event, which featured acts including The Pussycat Dolls, Enrique Iglesias and The Sugababes, among others.

R&B/pop singer Christina Milian is speaking up in Rap Up magazine's winter 08/09 issue -- this time the "Us Against The World" singer is setting the record straight.

Calling the publicized drop from Def Jam the most "embarrassing" point in her life, Christina Milian gets candid with Rap-Up. At one point the singer admits "I would be in my room a lot of the time crying by myself." Milian wasn't the only one dropped during a period she says was full of budget cuts, R&B singer Tearri Mari also felt the brunt of the ax.

"It was a budget cut, I believe," says Milian.

"Probably got rid of projects like mine to spend the money on Rihanna."

Since 2005 Rihanna has been Def Jam's leading pop sensation, releasing several chart-topping singles including "Take A Bow" and "Umbrella," while Milian has remained nearly silent since being dropped. Things are looking up for the former "Dip It Low" singer. She is now signed to Myspace Records and has a new single entitled "Us Against The World".

Milian says "I'm not going to let these people hold me down. It's time."

Kanye West to Team Up With Rihanna, Tentatively

Rumor has it, Kanye West may be entering recording room with Rihanna. A source tells Perez Hilton that the two singers will be collaborating on a re-recorded version of Kanye's single "Paranoid" taken from his latest album "808's & Heartbreak".

If the rumor is proven to be true, the duet track will reportedly be released sometime in January 2009. However, no statement has come out from both Kanye and Rihanna's managements regarding the issue.

Previously, Kanye West shared that "Paranoid" was indeed most likely to be his next song after singles "Love Lockdown" and "Heartless". However, he mentioned he was "not gonna release [the track] for awhile" to let his two previously-released songs "soak into the culture."

Kanye's fourth studio LP "808's & Heartbreak" has been available for purchase since November. It features Kid Cudi on "Welcome to Heartbreak", Young Jeezy on "Amazing" and Lil Wayne on "See You in My Nightmares".

Rihanna was given one of the first showcase performances of the night, and delighted the audience with her hit “Disturbia.” While the set piece had some weird ganglike Zombie people carrying light-sticks, the song briefly quoted the Eurythmics’ “Sweat Dreams” and the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” and the clear star here was Rihanna, as she overcame a raccoon-like haircut and a predictable dominatrix outfit to cut through the cheap-looking set piece with pure confidence and coolness. Likewise, she later upstaged T.I. on their duet of “Live Your Life.” Grade for both performances: A-

Both singers have hits in this week's New Zealand top 40 singles chart - Rihanna's newest single "Disturbia" is at number one spot, while Chris Brown's track "Take You Down'" is at number 15.

The couple is going to perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on October 27th and at Wellington's TSB Arena on October 29th.
